Main Events & Highlights

Brothers Patrick Roche, Oliver Gillett, Charlie Kemp, Peter Winegardner, and Garrison Turner attended the Krach Transformational Leadership Workshop (KTLW) in Bowling Green, Ohio this summer. While attending, the brothers participated in the True North Leadership, Adaptive Leadership, and Values Based Leadership tracks. They were able to participate in leadership activities within small group settings consisting of brothers from around the country. The brothers also had the opportunity to listen to a variety of influential Sigma Chi alumni speak, including our very own Significant Sig Jim Watrous.

Brothers Baker Daniel, Brennan Perossa, & Robert Crim participated in the University of New Orleans – Universität Innsbruck six-week program in Innsbruck, Austria.

Brothers Locke & Hamm Howington participated in the Forum-Nexus Study Abroad. They  traveled with their professors and entire group, making stops in Barcelona, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Netherlands.

Brothers Harrison Dixon, John Wilson Murray, Jack Chandler, Christian Timmons, and Connor Smith attended ISI Florence where they studied digital marketing in a 4 week intensive program. They visited Rome, Venice, Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Pompei, Interlaken, Madrid, and Barcelona.

Brothers Mack Kalinowski, Jackson Gates, Michael Memar, Drew Linnihan, Oliver Flynn, Wade Hopkins, & Sam Glick attended the London School of Economics. During the three week program, the brothers traveled to the Netherlands and Croatia.

Third-year Accounting & Finance student Jackson Bourgeois spent his summer as a Job Cost intern with C.W. Matthews. During his time, he built beds for the charitable organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

The Delta Chapter is extremely proud of our two members who had the chance to intern on Capitol Hill this past summer. Brice Hopper, a fourth-year Economics and International Affairs student, interned for Representative Mike Collins Scott (GA-10). Wynn Ambos, a fourth-year Agri-Business student, interned for Representative Earl L. “Buddy” Carter’s (GA-01).

Delta Chapter’s Vice President, Owen Olson spent the last six weeks of his summer at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia, training with the United States Marine Corps. Next summer, Owen plans to continue training, with the goal of graduating and earning the title of Marine Officer. From there, he hopes to pursue his long-term aspiration of serving as a Judge Advocate (JAG).

Fourth-year Accounting student Cooper Reynolds worked as a Private Wealth Management Intern for Baird in Bowling Green.  

Stationed in Topeka, Kansas, third-year Engineering student Jack Talbott spent his summer as Mars Snacking Manufacturing Intern for Mars, Incorporated.

Brothers Jackson Drew (Bank of America) & Joe Tapp (Alvarez & Marsal) spent the summer together in New York.

On November 1st, Delta alumn Shane Hogan will be running the New York City Marathon with Team NAMI-NYC, raising money for free mental health education and support services in honor of Sam Asbury. Shane is a founding board member of The Sam Asbury Foundation foundation, the Delta Chapter’s philanthropy, which saves lives through awareness, prevention, and hope.

The Delta Chapter congratulates brother J. Hillyer Jennings ('05–'09) for being honored in the 2026 class of UGA's 40 Under 40. Jennings went on to Harvard Law and worked at top firms in New York and London before returning to Atlanta, where he's now a partner in the M&A practice at King & Spalding. He's also an entrepreneur and nonprofit founder, raising scholarship funds for Troup County students and starting organizations supporting children's health care.
